Annie's Gluten Free Rice Pasta and Cheddar Review...

Annie's Gluten Free Rice Pasta and Cheddar is made with rice flour.

It is sold at many grocery stores, for more information click here.
Appearance:
Annie's pasta has bigger noodles than their other flavors, but cooked they look just fine.
Texture:
The noodles were tougher than regular noodles. We probably should have cooked them a little longer than typical macaroni, so we'll try that next time.
Taste:
They tasted great. Just like normal macaroni. The noodles had slightly less flavor, but it did not detract from the pasta. Overall, I'd give them 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Glutino Chocolate Dream Bites...

Glutino Chocolate Dream Bites are made with corn starch and soy flour.

They are sold at Whole Foods Market, for other purchasing information click here.

Appearance:
The chocolate dream bites are drier than they appear on the package. The filling is thicker and does not ooze out appealingly like the picture either, but the cookies look delicious.

Texture:
Biscotti like exterior, thick pudding like interior.

Taste:
Delicious. They have a slight oily flavor, but other than that, they are exactly what I would expect them to taste like from the picture. I'd give them 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Pamela's Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chunk Cookies Review...

Pamela's Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chunk Cookies are made with rice flour and tapioca.

They are sold at Whole Foods Market, for other purchasing information click here.

Appearance:
The cookies look rich and chocolately.

Texture:
The texture is consistent with a typical store bought cookies such as a Chips Ahoy but a bit granier similar to granulated sugar that hasn't fully dissolved.

Taste:
The cookies taste like dark chocolate brownie dough. There is no hint of being gluten free at all, in fact, I like them better than regular cookies. I give them a full 5 stars.

Pamela's Butter Shortbread Review...

Pamela's Butter Shortbread is made with rice flour, tapioca, and almond meal.

They are sold at Whole Foods Market, for other purchasing information click here.

Appearance:
The cookies look closer to a peanut butter cookie than classic shortbread.

Texture:
The cookies are moist and soft, they remind me more of soft snickerdoodle cookies than shortbread.

Taste:
Overall, the cookies are good. The flavor is buttery, not quite shortbread, but pretty close. It's almost like a buttery snickerdoodle. Overall, I would give them 4 out of 5 stars.

Six weeks without gluten...

Modern medicine doesn't do it for me anymore. These are the reviews from my six week gluten free fast. Who knows, maybe I'll never go back.
